Robotics Education Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic robotics educator to lead interactive workshops for college students. This role involves designing engaging educational content and conducting hands-on training sessions to teach students robotics concepts.

About the Role

This position entails developing curriculum-based classes for a hands-on lab environment, overseeing experiments, guiding students through robot assembly and programming, and maintaining all equipment in working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver customized robotics education programs for undergraduate students. Prepare course materials, laboratory exercises, and assessment tools.
  • Workshops and Training Sessions: Conduct interactive workshops where students assemble and program robots. Create innovative projects to reinforce learning.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through quizzes, practical tests, and project reviews. Provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Laboratory Management: Oversee the in-house robotics lab and ensure all hardware is operational. Perform routine troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Collaboration: Work with faculty and curriculum designers to update educational content. Share best practices with other educators.
  • Mentorship: Promote STEM learning and inspire students' interest in robotics and technology. Offer guidance and support to students daily.

Requirements

This is a full-time on-site position at our campus/lab facility.
