We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument and Electrical Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

As an Instrument and Electrical Specialist, you will lead the effort to develop, assign and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. The role supports asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.
