Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement endpoint security strategies using EDR/XDR platforms such as Sophos.
  • Design policies, rules, and playbooks for threat detection and response.
  • Investigate, remediate, and tune alerts to ensure effective incident response.

Device Management Expertise:

  • Implement and manage MDM/UEM solutions like Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or MobileIron.
  • Configure policies and ensure ongoing administration for compliance across various environments.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ManageEngine, or Jira Service Management.

Compliance & Policy Implementation:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards and implementation.
  • Maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance.
  • Experience in audits, gap assessments, and remediation activities.

General Security Knowledge:

  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management, patch management, and security hardening.
  • Knowledge of network security, access control, and identity management.
  • Exposure to working in SOC environments is desirable.
