Key Responsibilities:- Understand client search engine optimization objectives and implement them accurately.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest in SEO.
- Ensure ranking and traffic objectives of clients are met successfully.
- Strong SEO fundamentals and expertise in on-page and off-page optimization techniques (including dynamic sites).
- Strong understanding of social media optimization techniques.
- Understanding of link building, PR optimization, directory submissions, article submissions.
- Complete understanding of search engine trends and algorithms.
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and related tools.
- Knowledge of web statistics like Google analytics, Web Trends, Omniture.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- People management skills.
- Process-oriented.
- 5-7 years of SEO experience and passion for a career in SEO.
- Worked on websites across multiple domains (large corporations and international customers an asset).
- Handled a team of at least 4-6 members.
