Software Developer Role

We are looking to hire a talented software developer to build world-class experiences and services for our customers. Nielsen's Audience Measurement Engineering platforms support the measurement of television viewing in more than 30 countries around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor other engineers, define the technical culture, and help grow the team.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/design/working software solutions by working with PM, UX designers, and customers.
  • Code and test system components; participate in code and design reviews.
  • Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration.
  • Partner/Collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results.
  • Be responsible for overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related fields, strong in CS fundamentals.
  • 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node, Experience programming with React Native.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with ability to communicate technical concepts.
