We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation & Quality Control Chemist to join our team in the animal health supplements sector.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing formulations for dogs & cats syrups, tonics, and nutraceutical supplements.

You will work closely with our founder to lead small-scale batch preparation, maintain hygiene and cleaning SOPs, and conduct basic QC tests specific to dogs & cats supplements.

In addition, you will select suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that are safe for animals, prepare and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of veterinary nutraceutical ingredients, practical experience with syrup/tonic production process, and ability to work independently and teach/mentor.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize formulations for dogs & cats syrups, tonics, and nutraceutical supplements
  • Select suitable excipients, preservatives, flavors, and stabilizers that are safe for animals
  • Lead small-scale batch preparation (mixing, filtration, filling, capping, labeling) for pet health supplements
  • Maintain hygiene and cleaning SOPs for pet product manufacturing
  • Conduct basic QC tests (pH, clarity, taste/palatability, viscosity, appearance) specific to dogs & cats supplements
  • Approve/reject incoming raw materials (vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts for pets)
  • Possibly act as Technical Person for licensing and inspections
