We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Pluang Technologies. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our company. You will have the chance to design and implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, etc., and configure alerting mechanisms to ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
You will also create and maintain various Ansible playbooks for automation pieces, ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools, administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, and oversee the monitoring and stability of applications hosted on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, etc.
- Configure alerting mechanisms to ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
- Create and maintain various Ansible playbooks for automation pieces.
- Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
- Oversight of applications hosted on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Newrelic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog.
- Hands-on experience with Incident Management tools like Opsgenie and PagerDuty.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (ubuntu, Centos, and RHEL).
- Proficiency in any programming or scripting language such as Shell Script, Python, or Ruby.
- Cloud Platforms:
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP or private cloud environments.
- Containerization:
- Strong experience in Container Technologies (Docker/ Kubernetes) and containerizing applications.
- Database Management:
- Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Salary Range:
$150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
