Web Development Department Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Web Development Team Lead to oversee our web development division. The successful candidate will direct a team of frontend/backend developers, deliver exceptional, high-performance websites and web apps, collaborate closely with design, performance, and brand teams — and assume client delivery end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Ownership & Delivery
    • Take ownership of comprehensive website and web app projects — from inception to deployment.
    • Translate briefs, UI/UX designs, and business objectives into robust web solutions.
    • Ensure timely, error-free delivery and deployment.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of 3–6 web developers (frontend, backend, full-stack).
    • Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and foster a strong technical culture.
    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team efficiency.
  • Client Collaboration
    • Act as technical lead and client-facing SPOC for web-related projects.
    • Translate client requirements into technical scope, timelines, and roadmaps.
    • Provide proactive updates, documentation, and post-delivery support.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure design fidelity and responsiveness.
    • Collaborate with SEO, performance marketing, and branding teams to ensure SEO-ready, fast-loading, scalable websites.
    • Guide content and creative teams on what's technically feasible.
  • Code Quality & Infrastructure
    • Set up scalable architecture, version control (Git), staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines where needed.
    • Ensure responsiveness, performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
    • Keep code modular, clean, and well-documented.
