About the Role:

Product Visualization Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Visualization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for turning raw product data and images into high-quality, on-brand visuals that shape how architects, interior designers, and customers experience our materials across various platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit, retouch, and enhance product images in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Lightroom to deliver visually appealing and consistent results.
  • Recreate realistic textures, surface finishes, reflections, and accurate colour tones to ensure our products look their best online and offline.
  • Build seamless textures/tiles and perspective-correct mockups to meet the needs of our internal teams and external partners.

Consistency & Branding:
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across categories and campaigns by adhering to Material Depot's brand guidelines.
  • Create lightweight style guides where needed to support our team's efforts in maintaining a strong brand presence.

Creative Enhancements:
  • Clean/replace backgrounds, apply shadows, colour-correct, and highlight material details to elevate our product visuals.
  • Create lifestyle renders, application mockups, and design variations for storytelling purposes to engage our audience.

Digital Asset Preparation:
  • Prepare digital assets for web use by resizing, compressing, and exporting files in WebP/JPEG/PNG formats.
  • Organize digital assets using clear naming conventions, version control, and structured folders/DAM hygiene to ensure efficient workflow.

Collaboration & Workflow:
  • Partner with content, catalog, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality visuals on time and within budget.
  • Share creative inputs that improve click-through rates, time-on-page, and conversions to drive business results.

Quality Control:
  • Ensure colour accuracy vs samples and brand palette through rigorous quality control checks.
  • Run pre-publish checks for file size, resolution, artefacts, and alignment to guarantee polished results.

Requirements:
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (strong internships/portfolio welcome) in product visualization or a related field.
  • Solid command of Adobe Photoshop; working knowledge of Illustrator/Lightroom is a plus.
  • Strong eye for materials (gloss/matte, grain, veining, grout lines, bevels, edges) to deliver authentic product visuals.
  • Understanding of web-ready asset prep (DPI vs PX, compression, aspect ratios) to optimize digital assets.
  • Organised, fast with iterations, and comfortable handling large batches to meet tight deadlines.
