Native Android Developer Opportunity

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Native Android Developer with expertise in the Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Compose, and Room Database.

Key Responsibilities include designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services, ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness, identifying and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks, continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency, and writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Native Android development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
  • Strong knowledge of modern Android architecture components:
    • Jetpack libraries (Lifecycle, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.)
    • Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
    • Room Database for local storage.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp).
  • Deep understanding of Material Design guidelines and best practices.
  • Familiarity with MVVM architecture, dependency injection (e.g., Hilt/Dagger), and coroutines.
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling different screen sizes and OS versions.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Firebase tools (Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins).
  • Understanding of Google Play Store policies and app publishing process.
Educational Qualification:

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
