Portfolio Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As a core member of the discretionary portfolio management team, you will be responsible for managing equity portfolios for clients on a discretionary basis.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in investment strategies and work closely with Relationship Managers, Team Heads, and Business Heads for business development and active contribution in India Investment Committee meetings.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • About 10-15 years' experience in equity portfolio management and/or equity research.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of Indian equity markets and individual companies.
  • Good communication, collaboration, and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

This is a key growth initiative in our India strategy, and we are looking for a skilled professional to drive success in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that meet client objectives.
  • Monitor and manage risk to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with Risk Management to ensure governance matters are addressed.
Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent degree in finance or related field.
  • Strong track record of success in portfolio management and/or equity research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
