Job Opportunity: Internal Audit Manager

As a key professional within our internal audit team, you will be responsible for conducting concurrent audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

The primary focus will be on monitoring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, identifying potential risks, and recommending appropriate control measures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting concurrent audits of loan disbursements, operational activities, and other financial operations
  • Identifying and reporting any deviations, irregularities, or non-compliance with established procedures or regulatory requirements
  • Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and making recommendations for improvements
  • Reviewing loan portfolios, including loan applications, collateral valuation, and documentation
  • Preparing comprehensive audit reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, or a related field (LLB/ CA- Inter/MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience as an auditor, preferably in the housing finance sector
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance companies
  • Effective communication skills and ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools, MS Office applications, and audit software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent audits while adhering to deadlines
  • Ethical conduct, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
