Job Overview

The finance associate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring timely GST and TDS filings, and supporting financial reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.
  • Perform monthly bank and vendor reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end financial closure activities.
  • Prepare and file GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns. Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
  • Support the finance team in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow analysis.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain financial documentation and support other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Manage accounting entries and daily bookkeeping.
  • Ensure timely GST and TDS filings and support during audits.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in monthly reconciliations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including vendors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support compliance, documentation, and financial record-keeping.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting and has at least 1 year of experience in accounting roles such as Accounts Associate or Finance Executive.

Experience in finance/accounting services or structured finance teams is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Zoho Books is a plus.
