Job Opportunity: Lead Release Management and DevOps

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Release Management and DevOps initiatives. This role requires a strong background in Change Request creation, cross-team coordination, and automation-driven delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Release Planning: Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across multiple environments, ensuring timely and quality delivery with minimal disruption.
  • Change Request (CR) Management: Create, track, and manage CRs through their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with internal governance and external audit requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams, facilitating release readiness meetings and post-release reviews.
  • DevOps & Automation: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc., monitoring and optimizing deployment processes for scalability and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Release Management and DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow), and monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in DevOps & Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards in release processes.

Notes: Familiarity with the local market and industry trends is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
