Job Description:

The Ajmera Group is seeking a skilled Senior MEP Contracts Specialist to oversee the installation and maintenance of MEP systems in our Andheri West location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines.


Responsibilities:
  • Erect, test, and commission various MEP equipment, including HVAC, fire fighting systems, plumbing, STP, elevators, DG SET, and IBMS Systems, as per project schedules.
  • Install and test water and sewage lines according to project plans.
  • Ensure electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment installations are completed on time and within budget without any deviations.
  • Mobilize manpower for execution of installation projects.

Record and Maintenance:
  • Responsible for regular upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment to ensure smooth site operations and zero breakage.
  • Perform regular testing and surprise checks of various equipment to identify any maintenance needs.
  • Plan and implement online maintenance programs to prevent major shutdowns.
  • Address all complaints within 1 hour of receipt.

Vendor Management:
  • Identify, negotiate, finalize specifications, and terms and conditions with contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants for smooth site operations.
  • Manage relationships with CBRE for smooth maintenance and upkeep of the site.
  • Review vendor bills and process payments promptly to avoid delays.

Liaison and Compliance:
  • Liaise and manage relationships with statutory authorities, including electrical inspectors.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory guidelines and obtain necessary permissions and documentation for equipment and installations.
  • Maintain records of all equipment, machinery, and documents to avoid future difficulties.
  • Possess over 15-20 years of experience in a similar profile.
  • Hold a degree in MEP, MBA, or PG equivalent.

Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience.

Estimated Salary:

Rupees 40 lakhs per annum.
