Job Title: Senior Computer Applications Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional and qualified professional to join our academic team as a Senior Computer Applications Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science fundamentals, a passion for teaching, and a track record of scholarly research or industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lectures and practical sessions in subjects related to computer applications, such as programming, data structures, algorithms, database management, software engineering, web technologies, AI/ML, cybersecurity, etc.
  • Develop and update course content, syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
  • Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, research, and internships.
  • Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
  • Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on academic and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain active industry linkages and promote student-industry interaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Applications or Computer Science.
  • NET/SLET qualification is preferred as per UGC norms.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of teaching, research, or industry experience. Fresh Ph.D. holders may also apply.
  • Experience with modern teaching tools and technologies is a plus.
