Job Title: Design Engineer

About the Role:
  • This position is responsible for creating conceptual designs and manufacturing drawings.
  • Experience in sheet metal and weldments for design for manufacturability (DFM) is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with drive lines, engines, and other mechanical systems.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product development is necessary.
  • The role involves creating 3D models and manufacturing drawings, as well as designing supporting structures for heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop concept designs and manufacturing drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records.
  • Conduct site visits to understand machine under site conditions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading project activities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/BE (Mechanical Engineering)
