Oracle Technical Specialist

A hybrid role is available in a Global GCC setup in India for an individual with strong technical skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into application code, documenting specifications, and collaborating with development teams to ensure proper implementation and deployment of solutions. They must also diagnose and resolve complex application issues, maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes, and determine how existing applications integrate to meet new enterprise requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are necessary for this role:

  • At least 8 years of experience as a software developer
  • Knowledge in Oracle Application Modules Revenue Management & Billing, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script
  • Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Bursting, Forms
  • Ability to work on CEMLI (RICE)
  • Experience Oracle Workflow and Business Events and Bursting
  • WebADI and Oracle Application Framework
  • Performance Tuning
  • SCM tools GitHub, ADO
  • Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred)
  • Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices
  • Experience in various project methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile)
