Accounts Receivable Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our company's cash flow and ensuring timely payment from customers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP standards. You will be responsible for generating and sending invoices, monitoring accounts for timely collection, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving billing issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoicing and Collections: Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards, monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Reconciliation and Resolution: Reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical skills, including the ability to gather and organize information.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in invoicing and accounting software.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Review and Verification: Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Payments and Vendor Management: Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  • Vendor Relationships: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Multitasking: Attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Financial Closing: Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting activities.
