About this role

  • Perform precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.

As a mid-level Mechanical CAD Engineer, you will help shape the direction of our AI product that generates 2D drawings from 3D models by bringing on the table mechanical engineering knowledge and experience with geometrical tolerancing.

We're looking for someone who can create technical drawings and documentation, perform simulations and tests to validate designs, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed designs and documents for manufacturing-ready parts.
  • Apply GD&T principles per ISO and ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design iteration.

Requirements:

  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production.
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software.
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred.
