Advanced SRE Specialist

This is a senior professional role for an experienced System Reliability Engineer. Key responsibilities include implementing reliability and efficiency enhancements across the organization.

At this level, SREs possess in-depth knowledge of distributed systems and automation practices. They have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions to ensure high service levels.

As a critical member of the team, SREs are on-call during incidents and contribute to process improvements through expertise and collaboration.

  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale cloud-based data applications and REST APIs.
  • Develop microservices or middleware APIs under a micro-service styled architecture, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues within existing systems using industry-standard coding practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to finalize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Contribute to detailed specifications for the development of complex system components, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Implement DevOps strategies across existing and new projects, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Upgrade and enhance existing C++ applications to enterprise Java, promoting scalability and reliability.
Key Qualifications

Skills: Cloud computing, API design, automation, distributed systems, microservices, Java, C++, DevOps.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in SRE roles, with a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions and improving operational efficiency.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
