As a Data Science Manager, you will lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to execute various activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit business requirements from internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to gather data artifacts, anecdotes, and hypotheses.
  • Create project roadmaps and sprints for milestones/deliverables.
  • Spin virtual machines, create and optimize clusters for data science workflows.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data effectively.
  • Ensure data quality through proactive checks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and define performance metrics before running machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
  • Research existing solutions before building ML models.
  • Create optimized data models to query relevant data efficiently.
  • Run ML/DL algorithms to achieve business goals.
  • Optimize and validate these ML/DL models to scale.
  • Develop lightweight applications, simulators, and scenario builders to help businesses consume end outputs.
  • Test codes pre-production for possible bugs and resolve them proactively.
  • Integrate and operationalize models in client ecosystems.
  • Document project artifacts and log failures/exceptions.
  • Measure and articulate the impact of DS projects on business metrics and fine-tune workflows based on feedback.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
