Cloud Infrastructure Architect

As a Cloud Lead, you will be responsible for hosting and supporting customers' systems in the Azure cloud. This role requires strong skills with experience in Azure cloud architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing multi-tier, high-availability infrastructure architectures in the Azure cloud environment
  • Providing architectural guidance for solutions
  • Designing application and deployment architecture from on-premise to cloud
  • Ensuring compliance with disaster recovery, business continuity, and availability best practices

You will work independently, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work accordingly. Excellent communication skills are essential, and willingness to take on-call duty/weekend tasks is required.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of work experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux
  • 3+ years of experience in Azure
  • Strong knowledge of Azure platforms (IAAS, PaaS)
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing and various deployment methodologies
  • Ability to design and deploy applications in the cloud
  • Knowledge of cloud services, including Azure App Services, Azure Resource Manager (ARM Templates), and Azure storage options
  • Good understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, network security groups, ExpressRoute, and site-to-site connections
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security options
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, such as Windows PowerShell, Azure AD/ADFS, OMS, and Intune
  • Experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux
  • Virtualization experience with Hyper-v/VMware
