About the Role

Equiniti is a leading provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology. We are seeking a skilled Pensions Administrator to join our team, responsible for delivering Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) services to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administration services to customers, working to agreed targets
  • Put the member experience at the heart of all member transactions
  • Interpret and apply Trustee membership movements to the insured population during buy in administration
  • Complete and check casework, providing feedback
  • Resolve customer enquiries (oral and written)
  • Collate and escalate Trustee and client enquiries (oral and written)
  • Draft non-standard correspondence in response to customer and client enquiries
  • Collate and analyse data, producing routine reports
  • Perform and issue pension calculations, including manual calculations
  • Check and review Trustee's pension calculation during buy in administration
  • Carry out projects and ad-hoc activities, as determined by your Team Leader

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships
  • Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems
  • Previous experience of Defined Benefits Pensions is preferred
  • Knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities is desirable
