Sensor Systems Engineer

As a Sensor Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing various types of sensors used in automotive applications. This role requires a strong understanding of sensor technologies, including Hall, AMR, GMR, TMR, accelerometers, gyroscopes, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and cameras.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop sensor systems that meet performance specifications and safety standards
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of sensor designs and prototypes to ensure they meet performance requirements
  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using UG NX and AutoCAD for electronic parts used on vehicles
  • Perform fault finding in electronic circuits and study benchmarking parts
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and validation data
  • Conduct DFMEA and root cause analysis for quality issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of automotive sensor technologies
  • Experience with sensor design, testing, and validation methodologies
  • Knowledge of working and application of electronic components like SCR/MOSFET/IGBT/Op-Amp etc.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as CAD software, simulation software, and test equipment
  • Exposure to Sensor/electronics manufacturing and validations facilities, testing/test set-up experience
  • Ability to work on electronic circuit simulation tools
  • Familiarity with vehicle architecture, Flashing & CAN technology
