This position is for a skilled Design Engineer responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and firefighting systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of appropriate systems for the project including domestic water, sanitary, storm water, hot water, gas systems etc.
  • Performing calculations as directed by senior engineer
  • Designing and developing system layouts, including pipe sizing and equipment selection.
  • Knowledge of International codes
  • Knowledge of Revit and ability to work in BIM environment.
  • Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines to develop designs.
  • Experience with sustainable design projects

Responsibilities will include conducting heat load calculations, designing HVAC systems, selecting equipment based on project specifications, calculating ventilation requirements, pressurization needs, smoke management systems, pump head calculations, external static pressure, and sizing ducts and pipes.

You will be responsible for coordinating designs with other disciplines such as architecture, structural engineering, electrical engineering, etc.

Applying knowledge of international codes and standards in system design.

Planning and designing systems considering energy efficiency, sustainability, and indoor air quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in system design, heat load calculations, equipment selection, and system optimization.

A strong analytical mind and effective communication skills are required to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or master's in mechanical
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in Plumbing/HVAC & Firefighting
