IT Function OverviewIn the wake of our carve-out from Olam International Limited, ofi is driving innovation and growth through strategic initiatives. The IT function plays a crucial role in driving value creation, with a focus on technology and data-driven solutions.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Customer and Vendor Master Data Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT function, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and governance of customer and vendor master data across systems and processes.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer and vendor master data. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership roles and responsibilities, as well as ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Implement Master Data Standards
Work closely with business stakeholders to establish data ownership roles and responsibilities, and ensure compliance with data privacy requirements.
- Establish Data Quality Metrics
Develop data quality rules and KPI metrics to measure and improve the accuracy and completeness of customer and vendor masters. Provide regular reports on KPIs to data owners.
- Conduct Data Quality Assessments
Regularly assess data quality to identify and address inconsistencies and anomalies. Drive data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment, to improve the overall quality of customer and vendor masters' data.
- Oversee Master Data Creation and Maintenance
Guide business users in managing customer and vendor master data and resolving data-related issues. Oversee the creation, maintenance, and retirement of customer and vendor master data records.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Foster collaboration with business teams to understand their data requirements and work with IT to ensure integration across systems. Leverage data analysts to derive meaningful insights and drive business decisions.
- Process Improvement and Automation
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data management processes.
Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in data management, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years' experience in customer and/or vendor master data management, data governance, or related roles.
- Experience working with leading Master Data Management (MDM) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
