Job Title: Mechanical Handling Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Handling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and conducting mechanical handling activities.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, using engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to evaluate and adapt to new situations. You will provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers, ensuring that job tasks are performed correctly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct mechanical handling activities, including evaluating and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Ensure job tasks are performed correctly and efficiently, impacting indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Travel globally as needed to support projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduation in Mechanical or allied Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience, with average experience ranging from 10 -15 years.
  • Experience in handling concepts of various equipment and packages in FPSO/ Offshore facilities.
  • Problem-solving capabilities for handling related issues with inter-disciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of handling equipment and their capabilities.
  • Ability to prepare mechanical handling study reports and presentations.
