Job Title: Nurturing Educator

Role Overview:

We seek an experienced and innovative Early Years educator to deliver engaging dance and music lessons, fostering creativity, collaboration, and student-centered learning within the framework of the Early Years Framework.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate creative methods into transdisciplinary themes and interdisciplinary units, creating opportunities for students to express their learning through performances and showcases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning:
    • Plan and deliver engaging dance and music lessons aligned with CBSE Early Years standards, promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
    • Facilitate inquiry-based learning that encourages students to explore their creativity and cultural diversity, embracing a holistic approach to education.
  • Curriculum Integration:
    • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate creative methods into transdisciplinary themes and interdisciplinary units, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
    • Create opportunities for students to showcase their learning through performances and exhibitions, promoting self-expression and confidence.
    • Develop assessment strategies that align with IB objectives, evaluating students' progress effectively and providing constructive feedback.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay updated with current trends in IB education, attending workshops and conferences to enhance professional practice.
    • Contribute to the school's collaborative culture, participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of teaching resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Years Education or a related field, with a strong understanding of child development and educational theory.
  • Experience teaching in EY/Pre schools is highly desirable, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality educational programs.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
