**Job Overview**

A highly specialized Structural Design Engineer is required to lead the end-to-end design, analysis, and integrity management of complex facilities. This role covers initial conceptual studies to detailed engineering and ongoing operational support for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

The engineer ensures the safety, cost-effectiveness, and structural soundness of all civil and structural assets, whether on land or offshore. A deep understanding of industry-specific codes and standards is critical to ensure compliance and mitigate high-risk scenarios.

  • Design and engineering: Perform advanced structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures, including pipe racks, platforms, foundations, and buildings.
  • Project management and coordination: Lead the civil and structural aspects of projects from the conceptual (FEED) stage through detailed design and into execution.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in a high-risk industry, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or energy.
  • Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects, covering all project phases from FEED to commissioning.

**Technical Expertise**

  • Analysis and Design: Expertise in the design of complex structures (concrete and steel), dynamic analysis of equipment foundations, fatigue, seismic, and blast-resistant design.
  • Codes and Standards: In-depth knowledge of international codes, including API (2A, 1104, etc.), AISC, ASME, and other relevant standards.

**Personal and Interpersonal Skills**

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
