Job Title: Propulsion Engineer Specialist

 

  • About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Engineer Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and analyzing propulsion system components and major sub-systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and material science, as well as experience in designing fluid system components and sealing technologies.
  • The role requires proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (Creo preferred) and structural and fluid analysis (Ansys preferred), as well as a good understanding of additive manufacturing and programming skills in MATLAB or other codes.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and analyze propulsion system components and major sub-systems.
  • Analysis and Testing: Conduct numerical and analytical models of propulsion systems, develop and execute 1-D heat transfer analysis for engine cooling methods, and carry out structural and thermo-structural designs of combustion devices.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Plan and develop test procedures and documents for components, collaborate with teams to meet mission requirements, and communicate design reports and deliver presentations.
