Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Allegro and Xpedition software, strong knowledge of high-speed PCB layout, schematic interpretation, and manufacturing standards. This role involves designing complex layouts, ensuring signal and power integrity, and collaborating closely with production teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ECAD tools proficiency: Expertise in using Allegro/Xpedition software for PCB design.
  • Technical Requirements analysis: Understanding and analysing technical requirements and customer input to execute Layout Engineering.
  • PCB design: Designing layouts for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors.
  • Design guidelines implementation: Understanding the design guidelines from PDG and implementing them correctly.
  • IPC design standards: Knowledge of relevant IPC design standards for Library creation, PCB design, and Schematic Entry.
  • High-speed net routing: High-speed net routing and usage of blind & buried vias.
  • Constraint settings: Physical, spacing, and electrical constraint settings.
  • Signal Integrity and Power Integrity: Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts for PCB Design.
  • Documentation: Documentation regarding PCB Guidelines, Processes, Checklists.
  • Thermal impact analysis: Thermal impact for the design placement.
  • DFA/DFM analysis: DFM, DFA, DFS and DFT analysis.
