Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join our team at Black Box. As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing wireless networks to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, with experience in indoor radio network design and optimization. You will be proficient in using iBwave software for RF design and coverage map creation, as well as familiar with DAS equipment from manufacturers such as CommScope, Corning, JMA TEKO, SOLiD, ADRF, and Comba.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret DAS alarms to determine root cause and action required. You will also have experience with wireless test software (e.g., TEMS, JDSU, Pocket) and RF testing tools (e.g., CW, Spectrum Analyzer, Coax Line Sweep, PIM Test, Anritsu).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize wireless networks to meet client requirements
  • Perform signal surveys and troubleshooting for performance improvements
  • Develop and implement solutions to new and unknown issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product/service offerings and deliver smooth client experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years in Indoor Radio Network Design and optimization
  • Proficiency in iBwave software for RF design and coverage map creation
  • Familiarity with DAS equipment from manufacturers such as CommScope, Corning, JMA TEKO, SOLiD, ADRF, and Comba
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
