Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using Java and Rest Assured.
  • Collaborate with developers and other testers to understand API requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Execute and debug automated API tests to identify and report defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Maintain and update test automation documentation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API automation.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java programming and API automation frameworks (Rest Assured preferred).
  • Strong understanding of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) principles.
  • Experience with test automation tools (Postman is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
