Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to take ownership of backend systems. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services.

  • Design and develop backend services using JavaScript (Node.js).
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Own end-to-end development: from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, frontend).

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a startup or small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements & Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL – e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
