Enterprise Kafka Migration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated migration pipelines for moving enterprise Kafka workloads to open-source or cloud-native clusters.

Your primary focus will be on scripting and provisioning migration steps, automating validation, rollback, and monitoring tasks to ensure seamless data integrity and performance post-migration.

To achieve this goal, you will develop and integrate custom plugins for Kafka Connect as part of migration workflows.

You will also build scalable CI/CD processes for Kafka resource provisioning and configuration rollouts.

This position requires expertise in Apache Kafka administration and migration, scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

A strong understanding of data ops and security automation is essential. Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) would be advantageous.

Additionally, you will work with cloud orchestration tools (AWS MSK, Kubernetes operators) and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
