About this role

This position is for an experienced IT Product Owner responsible for the cloud infrastructure within the IT Platform Product group.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leads identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends
  • Provides inputs and expertise to the Product Managers for defining budget allocations and investments in business initiatives
  • Builds long-term strategic roadmaps for products and product groups
  • Supports IT strategy and planning processes to align with company goals and objectives
  • Defines guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with vision
  • Increases adoption, usage, recognition, and health over time, along with continuous enhancements
  • Manages day-to-day backlog management, including refinement and prioritization
  • Identifies organizational and financial impacts of products/platforms
  • Analyzes current IT environments to detect critical deficiencies or gaps to strategy and recommends solutions
  • Facilitates agile review mechanisms at Stream Level to evaluate product group proposals for architectural fit at Stream and EA levels
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or related field OR at least 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner within IT Cloud infrastructure
  • 7+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines: database management, cloud native services, automation, technical infrastructure, application development
  • 3+ years of experience managing cloud assets such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
Preferred qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Master's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or related study
  • Experience working in Agile or SCRUM methodology
