Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of high-quality custom web applications on Microsoft technologies.

The successful candidate will ensure alignment with business needs and industry best practices by working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and understand their requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer support resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze complex technical issues making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Contribute to team agile planning activities backlog prioritization and management.
  • Identify and escalate application issues or risks suggesting resolution strategies.
  • Improve development processes and tools increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies frameworks relating to emerging demands.
  • Drive innovation adoption of Industry practices investigating institutionalizing new tools/methods/standards.
  • Strong communication skills interacting with stakeholders documenting support processes solutions.
  • Adapt to new technologies learn about evolving applications systems.
  • Create documents reviewed approved by appropriate stakeholders.
  • Participate in estimation of User Stories committing efforts required.
  • Develop covering user stories acceptance criteria honoring timely deliveries.
  • Understand content management system (CMS) like EPiServer/Optimizely.
  • Resolve production incidents defects proactively identifying potential issues contributing root cause analysis.
  • Drive high performance accountability for own deliverables.
  • Actively participate contribute into sprint activities ceremonies daily stand-up Sprint planning retrospectives refinements etc.
  • Collaborate with other team members achieving sprint objectives.
  • Drive continual service improvements.
  • Drive knowledge sharing efforts organization.
