Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware for embedded systems using C programming language.
  • Develop device drivers for standard protocols such as SPI, UART, and USB.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and develop new products.
  • Test and debug firmware and hardware components.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of C programming language and experience with embedded systems development.
  • Experience with Linux kernel and user space.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with inter-processor communication protocols, debug logging frameworks, heap management, and timer implementations.
