Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in platform and web UI test automation to drive quality assurance across our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Test Automation:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks using C#, TypeScript, and .NET technologies.
    • Conduct exploratory and automated testing for REST APIs and Microservices, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
    • Utilize Postman, SoapUI, and similar tools for API validation and workflow testing, enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy.
    • Perform contract testing using Pact, guaranteeing that services adhere to expectations and deliver expected outcomes.
    • Set up and manage testing environments using Docker and cloud infrastructure like Microsoft Azure, facilitating efficient testing and deployment.
    • Execute performance testing for cloud-based platforms, optimizing system performance and user experience.
    • Use Visual Studio/VS Code, Git/SourceTree, and related tools for version control and development support, streamlining the development process.
  • Web Test Automation:
    • Design and implement UI automation frameworks for web applications using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools, ensuring smooth and seamless user experiences.
    • Test across browsers, platforms, and configurations, with a deep understanding of web browser statistics and responsive behavior, delivering exceptional results.
    • Integrate web testing with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation, ensuring that software meets the highest standards.
    • Monitor application behavior using analytics tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and debug with Charles Proxy, Fiddler, etc., providing valuable insights and improving system performance.
    • Understand web performance testing principles and contribute to performance optimization, driving business growth and success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C#, TypeScript, and .NET technologies, with experience in API test automation frameworks and tools: Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, Pact.
  • Experience with Web UI test automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, with strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and Docker-based test execution.
  • Strong skills with version control and IDE tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, Sourcetree, with a solid understanding of API and UI testing strategies, exploratory testing, and microservices architecture.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to performance testing principles for web and API layers, with experience in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Knowledge of security testing, rate limiting, and edge case validations, with a deep understanding of browser rendering behavior, accessibility, and responsive design.
