**Retail POS System Manager Role Overview**

As a Retail POS System Manager, you will be responsible for managing all in-store technologies including point of sales and mobile POS systems.

This involves possessing a strong understanding of business processes within stores and advising functional teams on technology-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage New POS Implementations:
  • Document business requirements, develop knowledge of existing POS solutions, work with vendors to finalize business requirements documents, coordinate delivery of business requirements and integration, build test plans, and conduct user trainings.
  • Day-to-Day Point of Sales Management and Stakeholder Management:
  • Coordinate with POS support vendors, manage internal stakeholders, provide support on integration-related issues, and conduct periodic governance activities with key vendors.
  • In-Store Digital Transformation:
  • Conceptualize new digital ideas, coordinate with vendors for initial proof of concept and scale-up, and identify opportunities for enhanced customer experience, improved sales, or cost efficiencies.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Experience in managing industry-leading retail/QSR point of sales systems (e.g. NCR, Microsoft, LS Retail, Micros).
  • Hands-on experience in managing system configurations, technical and functional issues related to point of sales systems.
  • Project delivery and stakeholder management experience.
  • Third-party vendor management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
