Job Overview

A Resort Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the resort premises.

• Patrol the resort grounds, including parking areas, to prevent crime and ensure guest safety.

• Manage access control points, verifying identification or passes for guests, employees, and visitors.

• Monitor security cameras for suspicious activity and report any incidents to management.

• Respond promptly to alarms, distress calls, and emergency situations, providing assistance as needed.

• Provide directions, answer inquiries, and offer assistance to guests, ensuring a positive experience.

• Accurately record incidents, complete security logs, and prepare incident reports for review.

• Identify potential threats to property and assist in preventing theft or damage.

• De-escalate conflicts between guests or staff, promoting a respectful and safe atmosphere.

• Serve as first responders in emergencies such as fires, medical situations, or security threats.

• Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Contribute to a positive and safe atmosphere for all guests and employees.
