Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to our users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create, document, and maintain manual tests to ensure minimal shipped defects.
  • Collaborate with the development team to deliver top-quality software.
  • Verify UX and physics features are implemented correctly.
  • Perform regular full regression testing of the user-interface.
  • Maintain user interface software tests.
  • Solicit information from the development team to add new tests as required.
  • Log issues in the development database and follow up with developers to test once fixed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a GPA of 8.75/10 or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA methodology, process, and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience using Linux.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with model compilers (Visual Studio or GCC).
  • Familiarity with Co-simulation and Software-in-the-Loop applications.
  • Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop systems.
  • Certification in software testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with enterprise-level CAE applications like GT-SUITE.
