Deputy Manager: A Key Role in Quality Assurance

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our quality assurance team. This role plays a crucial part in driving quality culture within production units and mitigating quality risks.

  • The successful candidate will lead the development of the production unit's quality team, ensuring they have the necessary capabilities and capacity to meet our high standards.
  • They will be responsible for deploying the plant's quality strategy across all production units, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.
  • The ideal candidate will also oversee the implementation of Continuous Improvement Plans within production units, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Additionally, they will ensure that best practices are shared among production units, promoting a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
  1. Drive quality culture inside production units and identify/ensure mitigation of quality risks.
  2. Develop Production unit Quality team (capabilities and capacity).
  3. Lead Production unit deployment of plant Quality strategy.
  4. Own or support Continuous Improvement Plan inside production units.
  5. Ensure Read Across, best practices sharing among production units.
  6. Verify Quick Response and effective problem solving in case of claims, lead Customer communication.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge with statistical process and tools.
  • Broad Quality automotive background and experience.
  • Ability to drive strong customer focus and build customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Product and production knowledge.
