We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Sourcing Engineer.

Your Impact:

  • Screening the supply market in India for engineering materials and products based on the needs of local production facilities, spare parts, and requirements from the Engineering organization worldwide.
  • Proactive screening of the supply market for drawing parts, later also for commercial parts.
  • Taking the lead in technical, logistical, and commercial discussions with local suppliers.
  • Evaluating potential suppliers' performance, quality, logistics, price, and support to become a preferred supplier for Bekaert.
  • Making strategic choices of materials, products, and suppliers in close cooperation with designers, production people, and requestors.
  • Preparing purchasing contracts with selected suppliers and communicating material, product, and supplier selection within the purchasing organization of Bekaert Engineering.
