  • The ideal candidate will have proven skills in analog and mixed-signal design with passion and excitement to participate in Tier 1 custom IC development.
  • Proven background in building, mentoring, and guiding teams to successfully execute complex PMIC's with integrated power converters and precision analog control and sensing circuitry.
  • Strong technical leadership ability to work hands-on in analog circuits and systems, experience in driving quality-focused designs in aggressive schedules required.

Responsibilities may include direct, guide, and participate in activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of applications.

Make assignments for team members, provide design guidance as needed, develop schedules, and monitor progress throughout the project.

Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives.

Work with physical designers and monitor the progress of IC layout.

Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PG.

Work with systems engineers, application engineers, and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, application notes, and assist in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contribute to roadmap formulation and new concept creation.

Organizational Skills: Ability to work well with internal cross-functional teams. Project management, time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication are important skills in this role.

Team and People Skills: Candidate must be team-oriented and able to work with TI-internal and external groups to resolve issues and generate business success.

Projects and Deliverables: The main deliverable is the timely release of meticulously analyzed and simulated IC designs or sub-sections of designs for custom designs with tight schedules.
