Interior Design Director Position

We are seeking an exceptional Interior Design Director to lead our luxury residential and hospitality interior design projects. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to shape the look and feel of high-end spaces, working closely with world-class consultants, artisans, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to deliver uncompromising detail and finish in luxury settings. They will be responsible for managing external consultants and internal design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration with Sales, Architecture, Construction, and Finishing teams.

Job Description:

  • Design Leadership & Oversight: Lead the design development process with external consultants and internal managers, ensuring all design deliverables align with our luxury brand ethos.
  • Consultant & Team Management: Manage relationships with world-class interior design consultants, build and mentor a strong internal team of design managers, and delegate effectively while maintaining personal oversight on critical design and execution checkpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales to translate client aspirations into feasible design solutions, partner with Architectural, Construction, and Finishing teams to ensure on-ground execution matches design intent, and resolve conflicts between aesthetics, timelines, and costs while protecting quality and design integrity.
  • Site Supervision & Execution Excellence: Maintain an active presence on sites to oversee finishing and detailing, conduct meticulous snagging and quality checks to ensure flawless delivery, and uphold our standards of precision with no tolerance for compromise on finish or function.
  • Commercial Awareness & Value Engineering: Balance creativity with commercial sensibility, optimizing designs for cost without diluting the luxury experience, reviewing BOQs, indents, and vendor submissions to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and design alignment.
  • Innovation & Future-Readiness: Bring global best practices and innovative materials into projects, explore digital and AI tools for visualization, moodboarding, etc., and reimagine processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining design purity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in luxury residential or hospitality interiors.
  • Proven success in managing external consultants and internal design teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing luxury projects with uncompromising detail and finish.
