**Job Title:** Senior Manager IP

**Job Description**

We are partnering with a global leader to identify a seasoned professional in intellectual property. The position will report directly to the Head of Intellectual Property.

Location: Hyderabad / Mumbai

This role involves working on a wide variety of intellectual property matters within the department, including product clearance, patent filing and prosecution, litigation, licensing and due diligence. The incumbent should have experience leading a team in a dynamic environment and delivering results.

The role requires close collaboration with portfolio, R&D scientists and regulatory affairs teams to turn intellectual property into strategy and drive business impact.

**Responsibilities**
  1. Develop and manage the growing intellectual property portfolio
  2. Enforce IP processes to protect company assets and third-party partner interests
  3. Work closely with Global IP Head, Research and Development and Portfolio teams to:
  4. Identify products for introduction into the development grid
  5. Devise effective product development strategies
  6. Provide guidance on patentability and draft patents
  7. File and prosecute inventive solutions to build significant wealth of intellectual property
  8. Monitor and evaluate third-party scientific and patent publications
  9. Provide IP-related inputs for legal agreements and negotiations
  10. Partner with other legal and business functions to provide strategic advice and support
  11. Manage patent, trademark, copyright and related issues
**Qualifications, Experience & Requirements**

**Education:** PhD or Post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences

**Desirable Qualifications:** Additional specialization in Intellectual Property

**Work Experience:** At least 13+ years in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company with team handling skills

**Required Skills:** Well organized, detail-oriented, team-player capable of working in a deadline-dictated environment

**Language:** Fluency in English, both written and spoken
