Government Relations Specialist

Cashgrail Private Limited is seeking a Government Relations Specialist to join our team in New Delhi, India. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with law enforcement agencies and government bodies at both the central and state levels. As a key liaison between the company and relevant government officials, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate effective communication and partnership.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in government relations or public affairs, particularly within the gaming or entertainment industry. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field is required. The selected individual will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials at various levels. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex regulatory environments are essential for this role. We offer a competitive salary of ₹20 lakhs per annum (approximately USD $26,000) and a comprehensive benefits package.
As a Government Relations Specialist at Cashgrail Private Limited, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with law enforcement agencies and government bodies.
- Acting as a liaison between the company and relevant government officials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with government agencies to facilitate effective communication and partnership.
- Staying abreast of legislative changes and regulatory developments that may impact the gaming industry.
- Designing and implementing outreach programs to enhance the company's reputation and foster positive relationships with government entities.
- Providing strategic guidance on regulatory matters and actively participating in advocacy efforts to shape favorable policies.
- Coordinating and organizing meetings, conferences, and events with government representatives to showcase the company's commitment to legal and responsible gaming.
- Managing and responding to government inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Staying informed about industry best practices and contributing to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 14 years of experience in government relations or public affairs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape related to real money gaming in India.
