The role of a skilled AI/ML Engineer involves designing, training, and deploying custom OCR models using leading cloud platforms like Azure Document Intelligence and AWS Textract.

This position requires the ability to automate document classification and data extraction from various inputs (PDFs, scanned images, invoices, etc.) across multiple languages.

Key responsibilities include building multilingual OCR workflows by integrating Azure Translator and applying NLP insights using AWS Comprehend.

The successful candidate will develop GenAI-powered solutions with AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI for semantic understanding, summarization, and contextual search of documents.

Using AWS Rekognition for image-based document analysis and identity verification is also essential in this role.

Implementation and optimization of scalable pipelines for OCR output post-processing (JSON/CSV) using Python, Java, or .NET are required skills.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial to gather requirements and deliver tailored, production-grade solutions that meet the highest standards of data privacy, security, and governance.

Experience in enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions and expertise in Azure AI Services and AWS AI/ML stack are highly valued qualifications.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 8 years of experience in OCR technologies and intelligent document processing.
  • Expertise in Azure AI Services (Form Recognizer/Document Intelligence, Translator, OpenAI) and AWS AI/ML stack (Textract, Comprehend, Rekognition, Bedrock).
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or .NET with hands-on experience in post-processing OCR outputs.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Step Functions) and Azure cloud environments.
  • Deep knowledge of document layout analysis (tables, forms, key-value pairs).
  • Experience with NLP tools, translation APIs, and GenAI model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
  • Understanding of Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this client-facing role.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent is desired but not required.
